"Music lasts. Some voices do not. Mine gave out, and although I'm not currently writing new material, I want my music and my songs to be out there for anyone who wants to listen."

Margaret grew up in San Francisco listening to classical music, R&B and Joni, studied abroad for a year in France, then spent 15 years in the United Kingdom before returning to California. Her friend, the late great Dwain Roque, persuaded her to record and perform, so if you like what you hear, you can thank Dwain.

Still 21 In My Head is the signature song on the album Rain on the Roof, a collection of original songs with Margaret performing vocals and piano and featuring some amazing talent, including producer Randall Tobin, guitarist Basil Fung (who played on Alanis Morrisette’s Jagged Little Pill) and Charles Waltz (fiddler for the Young Dubliners).

Sans Vie from the EP Perfect World was used as the opening theme for an independent feature film.
